Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Scanix account or using any part of the Scanix platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the service.
2. Your account
Scanix accounts are created and authenticated exclusively through Discord. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure — anyone with access to it can sign in to your Scanix account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use Scanix.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Scanix to sell illegal goods or services, to defraud customers, to launder money, or to violate the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, applicable law, or Discord’s own terms of service.
4. Plans, billing and fees
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Platform fees on store transactions are disclosed on the Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice. You can cancel a subscription at any time from your dashboard billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Your content and store
You retain ownership of the content, branding and products you upload to your store. You grant Scanix a limited license to host, display and process that content solely to operate the platform on your behalf.
6. Service availability
Scanix is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features described as prepared, upcoming, or gated behind a feature flag are not guaranteed to ship on any particular date. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; see our Status page for current incidents.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on our Changelog page. Continued use of Scanix after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
