1. What we collect
When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar and verified email address. We store this along with account data you create in Scanix (plan, sessions, notification preferences, and — once enabled — your store and its products/orders).
2. Why we collect it
We use this data to create and secure your account, operate your dashboard, process billing through Stripe, send account and security notifications, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Payment data
Card and payment details are handled entirely by Stripe; Scanix never receives or stores your full card number. We store only the billing metadata Stripe returns (subscription status, invoice history).
4. Sessions and security
We store a hashed session token, IP address and device/browser information for each sign-in so you can review and revoke active sessions from your account settings.
5. Cookies
Scanix uses a small number of essential, HttpOnly cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the Discord sign-in flow (OAuth state). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. You can reach us through the Support page to exercise these rights.
8. Third parties
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Scanix: Discord (authentication), Stripe (billing), and our hosting/database providers — each bound to protect your data and prohibited from using it for their own purposes.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be announced on our Changelog page.
